Short video about the NASA railroad in Florida. During the Shuttle program, this railroad would receive solid rocket booster engines and ship out the used engines which came from Utah. The Florida East coast railway was the final handling railroad before the Nasa railroad.
This is a part of the shuttle program I had never heard about – where large parts are coming from and how they get to their destination. Everyone has seen the pictures of the shuttle itself on the back of the 747.
